Mexico - Studies

I am really enjoying the place I have rented from Mariano and he seems to be a very kind person. I have really been hitting the books and immersing myself in my online classes from PSU, this is a very good place for me to focus. The downside is I have not been able to log into my PSU Blackboard account all evening. I am assuming something is up because my friend in Puerto Vallarta has been having the same trouble all day.

My spanish is slow going but I am trying all the time. I have learned it is one thing to just listen and semi comprehend but it is much better to just put yourself on the line and try and speak it, even if you feel foolish. Grammar has always been hard for me, even in english. But, I am trying to speak more than I ever have before.

I finely saw my friend Gaby yesterday and later this week I hope to see Pablo and Edmundo. Tomorrow I will go visit Alba (former host mother) and am going to ask if she will help me learn to cook while I am here.

It may sound crazy but I miss my cat Marty so much and it makes me sad that when I left he had no clue I would not be returning for so long. I have never been a cat person but he is just a wonderful little guy.
