All is well. I am sitting by the Sea of Cortez in the warm evening air doing my homework now. Today was a long hard ride.
I had a few close calls with livestock in the road and rode through two different swarms of bees, somehow I did not get stung. I was going very slow through the first swarm and there was a car in front of me so I could not speed up, I just made girl-like screams with my mouth closed and waved my left hand around. It was like hundreds and hundreds of bees, in the road!
On the second swarm I was doing about 60mph. Oh my god, I did not get stung, but hitting that many bees at that speed hurt. It felt like someone fired about 40 different BB guns at me at once. I was afraid that maybe one would be stuck in my clothing and get me later, it's happened before.
